HIGH
AVERAGE -
refers to
guitar that
has been in a
player’s hands
and has worn
due to player
use. This
guitar should
have normal
dents, small
chips, and
light
scratches on
the body
and/or
scratches on
top of back.
However there
should not be
any problem
unless
indicated
separately.
- This is a musician’s
guitar and is a player. No need to worry about adding a wear on this one. Just play it! - No
need to guess on the value of
this one. It has
been professionally
appraised. The
appraisal paper will be
included in the sale. My price is somewhere in between the appraised value. Bluebook Value will go higher as years go by. - The
sound on this one is so
sweet. I played it
thru my ’67 Fender Super
Reverb and it sings. - Pair it with a
Vox amp and you’ll have
your ’60s tone ala Beatles
when George Harrison was
sporting the same model. - Appraisal says everything is original except the tuners. They’ve been replaced with Schaller? “made in Germany” tuners. They hold tune allright.
- Though it has lots of
wear, There are no
cracks anywhere on the
guitar. - The neck is
great, fingerboard is
clean, no gouges,
there’s a lot of frets
left. Very smooth play. - Please look at
the pictures for a
better understanding of
wear - The switch is
2-way “on” and “off”
switch. - The volume knob
is bent just a little
bit but it does not
affect function. - It comes with
it’s original case but
it’s been road-worn. All
the hinges work but the
latches are barely
hanging on. I’ll leave
the buyer the option to
have it fixed. I’m
including it for
shipping protection.

was tempted to do so.
I only leave positive feedbacks. Please
do not forget to leave me a positive feedback as
well. If there’s anything that keeps you from
leaving a positive feedback, e-mail me back and
we can discuss it and come to
terms. Leaving negative feedbacks due to
small things that are resolvable are not
industry promoting and a waste of chance. Big
issues are of course understandable. …
feedback given is a feedback earned…

– Grading and
Pricing –Guitar Grading and Pricing System
used is derived from “Bluebook of Guitars” by
Zachary R. Fjestad –
- Some
instrument prices on the site are less than
their bluebook values and therefore giving you
some sort of built-in equity in your
investment. - It
will be time-consuming and un-wise to describe
each and every tiny finish cratch on a used
guitar. All major damages i.e. abnormal dents,
gouges, deep scratches, buckle rash, cracks,
warping, bellying up will be discussed.
All
instruments will be graded as follows.
- 100%
NEW – refers to a guitar that is practically
new with all factory materials including
warranty card, owners manual, case, and other
items that were originally included by the
manufacturer. - HIGH
EXCELLENT – refers to a guitar that is very
clean, looks almost new (perhaps a few light
scratches / dings only). - EXCELLENT
– refers to a guitar that has been played/used
and has accumulated some minor wear in the
form of light scratches, dings, small chips,
etc. - HIGH
AVERAGE – refers to guitar that has been in a
player’s hands and has worn due to player use.
This guitar should have normal dents, small
chips, and light scratches on the body and/or
scratches on top of back. However there should
not be any problem unless indicated
separately. - AVERAGE
– refers to a guitar that may reflect major
finish problems, replacement parts, previous
repairs, alterations, and neck/fret wear is
typically visible. - BELOW
AVERAGE – refers to a guitar that is still
structurally sound and still playable that
could be refinished or repairable. - POOR
– mostly not worthy unless it’s a pre-war
Martin D-45. - ***Some
guitars especially Older model guitars that
are not in the book (for obvous reasons that
they cannot list all guitars otherwise we will
end up with a library) will be priced per
similar guitar’s value or per projected market
demand.
