Up for sale is my Turquoise 1998 Rickenbacker 360/12 guitar with many valuable extras. The world’s most popular 12 string guitar in a RARE color. You know the sound – The Byrds, The Beatles, Tom Petty. I bought this guitar new in 1999.
Extras include:
Original Hard Shell Case
Vintage Style Rickenbacker Leather Strap. ‘Rickenbacker’ embossed on pad. List price $35 on Rickenbacker website
12 String Bridge Assembly (installed) Allows intonation adjustment for each string. Chrome finish. List price $125 on Rickenbacker website
Original 6 String Bridge Assembly that came with the guitar
Pyramid Gold strings installed*. Pure Nickel Flat Wire Wound Strings with Silver-Plated Strings. List price $35.
* (except for one each of the B and high E string and the octave G string. These three strings are Rickenbacker brand strings)
Set of Rickenbacker 2 Standard Nickel Round Wound Strings (minus the three strings listed above). List price $15
AND Rickenbacker Rick-O-Sound Box. Sends sound from neck pickup to one amp and sound from bridge pickup to another amp for stereo operation. These have sold on ebay recently for between $163-179 recently
Over $300 worth of extras
The guitar, serial # V15617, is in very good shape. There is one scratch on the back (see pictures) and the two screws that attach the bridge cover are missing. Other than that, everything works and sounds great.
