Description

This is a short-scale Rickenbacker 3000 bass, with 22 frets.
The fretboard measures 215/8″ in length.

I checked the serial number on Rickenbacker’s website, and this bass was made in February of 1976.
It plays beautifully, like a Rick should, and has that wonderful Rick sound.

The bass was refinished when I got it; I think these originally only came in a natural burst finish.
It still sounds and plays great, but there is a lot of fret wear. The neck itself is in great shape.
The 3000 is fairly heavy, especially for a short-scale bass, thanks to a solid maple body.

I am selling it due to financial constraints; otherwise, I’d be keeping this little beauty.
