to present this 2003 Rickenbacker 4003!
The classic Rickenbacker bass in Midnight Blue.
This one plays exactly as it should – great
sustain, rock solid low end and punchy highs that
always deliver. It’s very responsive to
touch – dig in for more thump and grit and back
off for a softer tone. Lush upper mids are easily
accessible in the upper register. Very sweet tone.
There’s a reason some things become classics. This
is one of them.
Item Details
This Rickenbacker 4003 is totally stock. No
uprgades, downgrades – no monkey business. If
you’ve been looking for a great deal on a modern
day Rick 4003 this is a great choice. With only
one owner so far, this bass was kept in a smoke
free studio environment, never gigged with and is
currently strung with flat wounds. It features
maple neck through construction, a maple body,
a beautiful rosewood fretboard that is exquisitely
bound, great fretwork and two single coil pickups.
The bridge pickup cover is still on and the
Rick-O-Sound stereo / mono output jack is fully
operational.
Overall Condition
This Rick 4003 Bass is in excellent condition.
There is a tiny finish crack by the neck joint and
a faint finish scratch or two on back. Everything
is fully operational, plays wonderful and looks
stunning. This is an excellent bass.
