to present this 1993 Rickenbacker 620!
Bond. James Bond. That’s how dang slick this
guitar is. This guitar could easily sneak into the
enemy’s million dollar fortress, cripple their
plans, disable a bomb, get the girl AND the money
and still come out clean with a dry martini in
it’s hands. There’s just something about JetGlo
black on a Rick 620 that stands out from the rest.
This little keeper from 1993 plays just
wonderfully – it has great action, stays in tune
and the pickups are warm and shimmery.
Item Details
The stand out feature of the 620 is the Cresting
Wave body design. Ergonomic, sleek looking and
above all, sinfully comfortable. It’s the “leather
seat option” of Rickenbacker bodies. The basic
construction of the guitar consists of a superbly
double bound Maple body and neck. The fretboard is
rosewood and the fret markers are pearloid
triangles. Two High Gain Rickenbacker Single Coil
pickups are cranking out sweetness every chance
they get. With a list of stellar features and
great playability, this 620 is ready to make its
new owner happy for a lifetime.
Overall Condition
There is only moderate play wear on this Rick
620. Less than a handful of minor scratches on the
back and some of the hardware shows some wear. There is a
small place on the top where a hole was filled and
refinished. The frets show some standard wear but they have
a long life left before they will need
any attention. This guitar is in solid playing
condition and has only a minimal amount of wear.
