CASES
All guitars are shipped in a hardshell case or gig bag. Original case is not included unless otherwise noted in above item description.
VINTAGE CERTIFICATION
For the past twenty years, Chicago
Music Exchange has backed all of the instruments we sell with our own
certification process. Every item that comes into our store is
painstakingly examined so that you can be assured that you know exactly
what you’re purchasing.
We score every guitar based on these 8 factors:
- Overall Condition: patina, issues, playability
- Originality: components, dating, S/N
- Finish: marks, touch-ups, play-wear, checking
- Repairs: modifications, crack-fix, breaks
- Electronics: functionality, sound, joint originality
- Hardware: originality, oxidation, wear
- Frets: height, originality, levelness
- Tone: character, nuance, range

SHIPPING
Free shipping with UPS Ground
within contiguous 48 states. $50 for shipping to Hawai’i, Alaska
and Puerto Rico. We ship UPS to international buyers, fees are to be
determined based on the item sold.
RETURNS
Buyer responsible for shipping both ways on returned items no
exceptions. All returned items must arrive in the same condition they
were sent. Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged
item. We have a 48 hour return policy for authentication purposes only.
We will not issue a refund until the item is returned and inspected.
