Description

Rickenbacker reissue of the Rose Morris 1998 model in a stunning shade of Fireglo.  This is the 3-pickup version of the 1997 reissue and is also known as model 1997 SPC, which is rarer than the 2-pickup 1997 model. In fact the features of this model — including the 3 pickups — are exactly the same as the far more expensive Pete Townshend Limited Edition model, except for a PT logo on the upper guard and an “R” tailpiece.

This guitar has an F-shaped soundhole, 21-fret neck, trapeze tailpiece, three vintage toaster-top pickups and a vintage neck profile, body and headstock shape.  This is a rare model made in 1999 that has been discontinued for over a decade.  Examples of this model do not surface that often, especially in mint condition like this one. 

And when I say Mint, I mean this guitar has not a scratch, ding, rub, swirl or mark of any kind on it.  Mint.

This guitar plays and sounds superb — nice low action with perfect bridge setting.  Everything functions as it should.
