Vintage 1965 Rickenbacker 425 – Rare Boyd Tremelo Version – Excellent Condition.

All original as far as I know except for the new tuners, pickup, and I’m told that nut is not original (minor detail).

However, it does sport a Lennon spec truss rod cover – extremely hard to find!

Straight neck. Everything works.

Has various minor nicks and dings consistent with it’s age.

Includes an older vintage reissue hardshell case.

Bit-o-trivia: Harrison’s 425 was originally FireGlo, but he had it painted black to match Lennon’s 325.

I am located
almost a mile high in elevation in Colorado
and sell only used instruments. Since instruments are machines comprised of
many interacting parts, changes occur when shipping to a different climate. Some
adjustments (string height, neck relief, intonation, etc.) may need to be made
both to bring it back to playing snuff and/or to satisfy a personal playing
style. These adjustments are NOT part of the sale price.

shipped within Colorado are charged Colorado sales tax. All

speaks for itself regarding the accuracy of descriptions and of customer

I do my best
to test, adjust, and describe them as accurately as possible but I do not go
over and report every millimeter as that is impossible. Also, I do not test
adjust truss rods if necks are already acceptably straight as it can be tricky
to get them back where they were.
